The ceremony is on the top of the mountain, do we have to hike?
Unfortunately, Sugarbush won't allow us to transport our guests to the top of the mountain via a herd of longhorns (cause we are big UT fans now), so we opted for the second best option.. a CHAIRLIFT!
The ceremony will take place at the top of the mountain only accessible by chairlift.
What should we wear on wedding day?
Attire is semi- formal.
Gals think festive summer dresses with strapped heels or wedges so your shoes don't fall off while riding the lift.
Guys think suit/coat & tie.
The ceremony will be held outside, and the reception is inside. It will be on the warmer side, but Vermont weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so bring a light jacket just in case.
Where should we stay?
Check out the Accommodations tab for more info!
Sugarbush is offering our guests 20% off any of their locations (discount link can be found in accommodations tab). Please note many of the lodging options on the link have a 2-night minimum, however exceptions can be made.
Looking for a 1 night stay?
While we would love to have you at both the Friday Welcome Party and Saturday main event, we understand that y'all are busy! While the lodging link shows 2-night stay minimums, Sugarbush is making some exceptions for our guests. If you are looking to stay at the Claybrook or Lodge at Lincoln Peak for just Saturday night please reach out directly to Steve or Jenna and we can reserve it for you.
General chairlift info
Sugarbush frequently assists guests in wheelchairs to the mountain summit, provided the wheelchair is foldable. The chairlift operators are there to help you. They can slow the lift down or completely stop it upon boarding.
Please reach out to Jenna or Steve with any questions.
What should we do Saturday before the ceremony?
There is so much to do in the Warren area! Take a hike, hit a brewery, or check out Warren Falls. Check out our Things To Do section for ideas.
